That ad on the Super Bowl.
Well that terrifying, horrifying, woman-enslaving, hate mongering ad that "threatens the lives of women" has been shown during the Super Bowl now. I had to laugh when I saw it. So this is what all the fuss was about. It's 30 seconds long, and the mother of Tim Tebow talks about how she almost lost her miracle baby many times. She doesn't even mention abortion. Well, there was only 30 seconds in the ad, so there was a lot that had to be left out.
It seems that when Tim Tebow's mother was pregnant with him, she was on a missions trip in the Philippines, and she got sick. She went into a coma, and heavy drugs were given to her to help with this. Then the doctors told her that the drugs could have severely damaged her baby, and that she should get an abortion. She refused and gave birth to Tim. He was not only healthy, but he grew up to be a star football player, and won the Heisman trophy.
A pro-life group called Focus on the Family raised the money to create a 30 second commercial that told a tiny part of the Tebow story (not much can be told in a mere 30 seconds). But it was designed to show how glad Pam Tebow was that she had her child and how proud she is of the man he became. The ad was scheduled to air during the Super Bowl.
The so-called pro-choice groups, NOW, Planned Parenthood, the Women's Media Center, etc. found out about it, and went through the roof. They demanded the ad be pulled. They said the ad was "hate mongering," "scary," "enslaving of women," "life threatening," and other pejorative terms. This, in spite of the fact that neither they, nor anyone else, had seen the ad. How they could know all that without seeing it is a mystery to me. But they claimed to know it.
These anti-free speech fascists organized to get CBS to pull the ad. They put petitions on line, etc. It seems that any pro-life message has to be stopped in the eyes of the hard core pro-aborts.
NEWS FLASH for them: This is the U.S.A. We have freedom of speech and expression in this country. We don't need to have our ads, or any other expression, approved by the abortion lobby. They don't have the right to decide what the rest of us can see. I know they want that right. They want only their side of the abortion story to be told. Everyone else, they want to silence. But in a free, democratic society you can't give any one group, person, or interest that kind of censorship rights.
Personally, I've never liked sports, but I know a lot of people do like sports. The Super Bowl is watched by millions of people across the country. This time, I was among them because of the pre-game publicity about the ad. (Thanks for giving our side free publicity, pro-aborts.)
The pro-aborts were panicked that millions of people would see a pro-life ad and be inspired to not abort. That could threaten the profits of the abortion industry, which can't be tolerated. So they tried to stop it.
Now that the ad has been shown, I can't help but wonder what the fuss was about. The word "abortion" was never even used. The mother just calls him her miracle baby, and says, "I almost lost him several times." Then she says how glad she is to have him. Then her son hugs her. End of ad. Another ad has the son tackle her. She pops up and playfully scolds him for the interruption. The son says, "Sorry, mom," and "do you still worry about my health." To which the mom answers, "Of course, I'm a lot tougher than you," or words to that effect. The end, ad over.
I'm sitting there in TV land thinking, 'Wow, this is what all the fuss is about.' Now the pro-aborts have egg on their faces.
I would like to see an ad on next year's Super Bowl that really comes across heavily anti-abortion. Maybe a two minute one instead of a 30 second one. One where a woman tells how she regrets her abortion. Another woman tells how glad she is she resisted pressure to abort, and that gives a toll free number women can call for help if they're pregnant and need support to bring the baby to term. LIFE - THE BEST CHOICE. Let's see how NOW goes nuts about that. Hopefully by then they'll figure out that they don't have censorship rights in this society.

It is about a woman's choice to choose, not YOUR choice to choose for her. And Dr. Kevorkian is a god!

That doesn't explain why these so-called pro-choice women are against anyone promoting the choice for life. If it's really a choice, shouldn't all choices, including the choice for life, be out there for people to look at, and judge the merits of? Pam Tebow made her choice. Why should she be silenced so that others can't hear that it worked well for her?

You think Dr, Kevorkian is a god. To me that's a laugh, he's barely human, let alone a god. But he thinks he's a god, and I think he feels like one when he kills someone. That may be why he likes it so much.
BTW: Only the God of the Bible is God. He alone deserves to be worshiped. His Son, Jesus Christ, died for your sins, and rose the third day after His death. Accept Him as your savior and you can go to heaven. I hope I see you in heaven someday.
